Seaplanes at Carillon Point: Neighbors Voice Concerns [poll]

It seems that a controversy is brewing at Carillon Point over a seaplane tour operations. Seaplane Scenics operates tours out of Boeing Field and Carillon Point in Kirkland. This has some neighbors calling City Hall for reasons including noise and concerns for the environment.

The city is taking public comments on an application for floatplane operations out of Carillon Point. Some seaplane flights already take off and land at Carillon Point.

The city has informed us that according to FAA regulations, all take offs and landing must occur 1,000 feet from shore.
