• Our own Representative Roger Goodman from Kirkland currently chairs the Joint Legislative Task Force on the Use of Deadly Force in Community Policing, addressing one of the most serious public safety and civil rights issues of our time.

• Kirkland City Councilmember Penny Sweetis chair of Kirkland’s Public Safety Committee which has led the cityon local public safety issues for many years.

• Former Chief Eric Olsen, whose children are NU graduates, will offer his valuable perspective as a leader in the state's law enforcement community.
