Volunteers Needed! Help improve the 116th Ave NE connection to the Cross Kirkland Corridor Sunday, July 12

I know everyone is very busy in the summer, but we need a few more people with some muscles and construction smarts to help with the 116th stair project. This is a Neighborhood Safety Program project. Below is a photo of what we're doing. The existing stairs are treacherous (I saw someone take a nasty  tumble just the other day). Please help make them safer and easier to navigate. These stairs connect to the CKC.

The next work party is this Sunday, July 12, from 9 am to mid-afternoon. (Note date change from previous emails.)
Come for any amount of time; see below for the additional dates we will be working.
Meet at 116th Ave NE and NE 107th Place
Please bring gloves, water, and snacks
Wear sturdy shoes!
We've been short on the following tools if you have them (label them with your name!):
Small level
Measuring tape
Carpenter's pencil
Pick mattock
Sledge hammer
Long pry bar
Hand saw for cutting 2x6s
