A garden tour benefitting the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra will take place on Sunday, June 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at five local gardens including one in Kirkland. Ticket info above. Garden details below.
Kirkland: “Suburban Wildlife Oasis” - 2/3 of an acre with a creek in front, veggies in back, and many ornamentals in between.
South Bellevue: Jean’s Garden” - This garden offers privacy and serenity in a natural woodland setting. Garden art and critters share space.
Beaux Arts: “Little Bit of Heaven” – Many secret gardens and surprises, created by a loving gardener.
Mercer Island: “Frog Hollow” - A “gardener’s garden” - a collector of rare and unusual plants and flowers, many planted on a steep bank.
Mercer Island: “Very Old and Relaxed” – Two acres of old growth trees, mature rhododendrons, a Dudley Carter totem, and many other plantings overlooking Lake Washington.
