A 50th Anniversary Tribute to Herb Alpert by Local Artist Bobby Medina

Kirkland Performance Center (KPC) is excited to announce local trumpeter, Bobby Medina will be taking the stage for a brand new show Whipped Cream & Other Delights: A 50th Anniversary Tribute to Herb Alpert on Saturday, October 24th at 8:00pm.

Bobby Medina leads this fast paced show and revives the soundtrack of the 1960's.The music of Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass can best be described as 60's Mariachi inspired instrumental pop and has achieved numerous platinum status records and has been featured on radio, television specials and on the big screen for decades. This never before seen show authentically re-creates a sound that was quirky, retro, hip, and promises to bring back fond memories.

 

Special guest Dolores Erickson, the model on the original Whipped Cream & Other Delights album will be at the show and will be doing a meet and greet as well as a signing after the show ends. Patrons are encouraged to bring their albums to get them signed by Erickson.
