Bottle & Bull Opening Soon in Downtown Kirkland

Foodies and cocktailers will soon have a new haunt in Kirkland when Bottle & Bull opens its doors of what is described as gastropub with "an experience that will allow you to follow the travels of Ernest Hemingway. You will be able to eat and drink your way through the cities that Hemingway loved to frequent: Havana, Paris, Florence and Pamplona (where he discovered his love for bull fighting!) to name a few."

The menu at Bottle & Bull will focus on farm-to-table and feature locally sourced products. The gastropub will be located at 105 Lake Street South, across the street from Hector's.

Our Story

Our journey into proprietorship started when we opened Marcy’s Bar & Lounge in Walla Walla in 2010. During that time we were fortunate to work side by side with a very talented team who helped refine our business and future endeavor. It was always our plan to open an establishment in Kirkland; and we couldn’t be more excited that that time is now! Marcy’s Bar & Lounge not only allowed us to work with professionals, but also forge lasting relationships with industry experts; two of which are Stephen Paulson and Silas Manlove. Stephen will be our Executive Chef and Silas will be developing and running our bar program. We couldn’t be more excited to bring our knowledge, experience and skills to the community of Kirkland. We look forward to serving you! -Chad & Jessi Waldher

The Concept

Where did the name Bottle & Bull come from? We have created an experience that will allow you to follow the travels of Ernest Hemingway. You will be able to eat and drink your way through the cities that Hemingway loved to frequent: Havana, Paris, Florence and Pamplona (where he discovered his love for bull fighting!) to name a few. With a focus on farm-to-table and locally sourced products, our menu will be as fluid as the seasons. Like Ernest Hemingway our hunger knows no borders!
