Kirkland Performance Center Unveils 16th Season

Kirkland Performance Center (KPC), the Eastside’s premier performance venue, is excited to announce the 2014-2015 season! KPC’s 16th Season of music, theatre, dance, holiday, and comedy brings back many fan favorites to the Eastside, more local artists, indie rock,exciting new partnerships, and a holiday season with something for everyone. According to Jeff Lockhart, KPC’s new Executive Director, “This season will be KPC’s best ever. We’re so excited to feature performances that will appeal to the entire Eastside community.”

For the first time, Indie Rock is part of the artist line up with Hey Marseilles and FM Collectivefeaturing members of the Posies and Cataldo. KPC fan favorites return to the Eastside, includingDoktor Kaboom!, the Brothers Four, Jim Brickman, Creme Tangerine, and StoryBook Theater. KPC also has exciting new partnerships with Jet City Improv, Ara’Kus Productionsand the International Ballet Theater that will bring new genres to KPC: improv comedy, heavy metal opera, and classical ballet. Amjad Ali Khan, a master of the sarod, continues the Namaste Kirkland initiative. The holiday season at KPC has something for everyone with several different showsincluding Geoffrey Castle’s Celtic Christmas, KPC’s Holiday Sing Along featuring Groove for Thought, a new KPC Late Night show with drag performers and Captain Smartypants, and the return of KPC’s Old Time Holiday show! Save the dates for the new season: subscription tickets go on sale June 27th and individual tickets go on sale July 22nd.
