Girl Scouts Rock! ADA Swing Installed At City Park

Members of the Holy Family Parish Brownie & Daisy Girl Scout Troops proudly pose with Jim Fitzpatrick and Kyle Johnston, Kirkland Parks Operations Division at the newly installed ADA swing at Rose Hill Meadows Park.  The Girl Scout troops raised money to purchase the swing.

Thanks to a great idea by the Holy Family Parish School Brownie and Daisy Girl Scout Troops (more than one), there is a new ADA swing at the playground at Rose Hill Meadows Park. The Troops raised $426.75 to purchase the swing; our Parks operations crew installed it.  It was “dedicated” on Monday with a ribbon cutting.

Would love for you to give a shout out to these awesome (and thoughtful) troop members:

Kindergarten Daisies - Troop #44316
Second Grade Brownies - Troop #43812
Third Grade Brownies - Troop #41126
Fourth Grade Juniors - Troop #42895

Kirkland Parks Maintenance Supervisor Tim Werner accepts a $426.75 check from Holy Family Parish Brownie & Daisy Girl Scout Troops for the purchase of an ADA swing installed at the Rose Hill Meadows Park.
