40th Annual Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) returns to the Kirkland Performance Center

 

See 11 SIFF films from around the world in Kirkland May 29-June 1

 

For the sixth year, Kirkland welcomes the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) to the Kirkland Performance Center (350 Kirkland Ave). Recognized as one of the top film festivals in North America, the 40th Seattle International Film Festival brings the world’s greatest films to Kirkland on May, 29 - June 1, 2014.  Over four days, see 11 films from Japan, United States, France, Spain, and Poland.  Showcased films star celebrated actors Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Banks, Chloë Sevigny, Gillian Anderson, David Arquette, Josh Lucas, and Taylor Kitsch.  Documentary films about Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother, Aaron Swartz, the founder of Reddit, and a new film from Luc Jacquet, director of March of the Penguins are featured.
