Lake Street Place: SEPA Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance issued

The City of Kirkland issued a SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) regarding the Lake Street Place project on Friday, March 14, 2014. The McLeod Development project occupies most of the block south of The 101 Apartments on Lake Street South. Current tenants include Ben & Jerry's, Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen, Milagro Cantina and Hector's.

In 2008, the project originally planned for substantial office space and underground parking, however, current plans are somewhat more modest.

The subject property is zoned CBD 1B and allows for a mix of uses including retail, restaurant, and office uses.  

According to the city's website, construction of the new mixed-use buildings consisting of:

  • 79,150 sq. ft. new building area
  • 26,600 sq ft. existing building area
  • 252 parking stalls within an above grade parking structure (83,800 sq. ft.)
