Flatstick Pub to open in downtown Kirkland

Question: What do you get when you combine over 20 Washington State Craft Beers on tap with indoor mini golf? Answer: Flastick Pub, opening this spring in the heart of downtown Kirkland at 15 Lake Street South, next door to Vovina Martini Bar.

Flatstick Pub is the brainchild of owner, Sam Largent who says, "plan on at least 20 plus Washington craft brews." Inside the water-facing ground floor space below the soon to open Sotheby's, Largent is building out a 3000 square foot space including a 9 hole mini golf course. There is a WSLCB notice on the window indicating application for a liquor license with the state.

Flatstick Pub is scheduled to open in "two to three months."

I'm pretty sure that craft beer plus mini golf is a popular combination. It's right up there with Peanut Butter & Jelly,  Hall & Oats and Rick & Roll.

Stay tuned for more details when they are available.

Update: Flatstick is not building a kitchen. Rather, patrons will be encouraged to order food from neighboring establishments to be delivered at their table or BYO.

Thanks to @MissDestructo for the heads up.
