Zombie Prom is kooky, creepy, campy fun, Nov. 13-22

Juanita Rebel Drama presents Zombie Prom, Thursday through Saturday, November 13 – 22, 2014, at 7:30pm at the Juanita High School Theatre. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults and can be purchased at the door starting at 6:30pm the night of the show.

This girl-loves-ghoul rock and roll musical is set in the atomic 1950’s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal, Miss Strict (Carly Taylor). Pretty senior Toffee (Amanda Bushman) has fallen for the class bad boy, Jonny (Caleb Skiles). Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee's heart. He still wants to graduate, but most of all he wants to take Toffee to the prom. Miss Strict orders him to drop dead while a scandal reporter, Eddie Flagrante (Liam Bray) seizes on him as the freak du jour. The past comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs in the style of 50’s hits keeps the action rocking across the stage.

Zombie Prom is kooky, creepy, campy fun and suitable for viewers 8+!
