NE 120th Street Extension Project update

Striping on Northeast 120th Street has begun in Totem Lake. The following photos show recent progress.

Northwest Traffic’s striper Kevin Koepke paints on Oct. 27 the eastbound bike lane on the 800-foot extension to Northeast 120th Street, while laborer Easler Kemai increases the markings’ visibility by spreading a powdered glass over it. The City of Kirkland is hosting on Nov. 19 a road-opening event on Northeast 120th Street . Members of the City Council will participate. Kirkland’s contractor is nearing completion on the new road, which connect Slater Avenue Northeast to 124th Avenue Northeast in Totem Lake.
