The Parking Advisory Board is going to hold approximately three stakeholder group meetings beginning in late October to discuss how we might be able to enter into a public-private parking partnership with a developer. Consensus will need to be about whether or not more parking supply is needed and who will pay for it. [...]

The Downtown Kirkland Transit Center will relocate on September 19 in preparation for construction of the new Center. During construction, the eight (8) bus routes that use the transit center will be redirected for approximately one year. This includes King County Metro Transit routes 230, 234, 236, 238, 245, 248 and 255 and Sound Transit Express 540.

The ballot box was full to the brim. It was $1/vote, and people were allowed to vote as many times, for as many dogs as they wanted. We raised into the thousands for the Seattle Humane Society, vote counting is currently underway, and top fundraising calendar dog finalists will be announced later next week. One Hundred Hounds is counting along with the Seattle Humane Society, and we’ll have a final dollar amount of monies raised to announce next week.
