Marsh Park drowning victim investigation underway by Kirkland Police

UPDATED On Saturday, February 27 at about 4:00 p.m. a body was found floating in Lake Washington 15 yards off shore from Marsh Park. At the time, news reports incorrectly stated that the victim was a 35 -year-old male. Since the initial reports, there has been little new information to release. Body found 15 yards off shore of Kirkland’s Marsh Park

The Seattle Times reports that at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon, the body of a 35-year-old man was found floating in Lake Washington 15 yards off shore from Marsh Park. More details to follow. A call has gone out asking for assistance in solving a 2006 murder case. The Seattle Times is covering the story of a man accused of the 2006 murder of a Kirkland family including two young sons ages 5 and 3, while their father, a National Guardsman, was serving in Iraq.
