Behind the scenes hard work by volunteers deserves recognition as a job well done
Celebrate Kirkland Volunteers – Thousands of volunteer hours go into the production of Celebrate Kirkland’s 4th of July. This list includes the names but cannot demonstrate the degree of involvement and time spent. Most of the committee spent hundreds and some thousands of hours making our event happen. Many of the general volunteers come to multiple events throughout the week to help us prepare and finally to help clean up on the 5th.

The 2009 winner of The Kirkland Cup is Christ Church who created a band that played instruments made entirely of recycled items.
First Runner up was the Lake Washington Drill Team
Second Runner up was Sibling House.
