KIRO recently did a wonderful story about Bridle Trail’s own Janet Miller, the Director of Orchestra at Rose Hill Junior High, and one of her newest and most talented students.  Janet is also the Director of Choir at Rose Hill Junior High and teaches Orchestra to Ben Franklin, Rose Hill, Mark Twain and Ben Rush elementaries.

Jeff Dubois reports on a Kirkland student whose passion for music helped bring harmony to his life.

    Thank you for watching. I’m so humbled by all of this.
    Eric Alexander took the inititive to record this story. He too is a composer/artist of film.

    I’d like to reach more students here at RHJH by offering a guitar class. Students who need to find a productive passion in their life. Presently we have over 50 students signed up for the semester class. We need 25 guitars to put into the hands of students who maybe cannot afford to purchase a guitar. My dream is to have them available to them to use and sign out for the semester class. Adequate gutiar “kits” start around $100 each. Any ideas? Please send me your thoughts on the subject.
