The longer days and warmer weather leave no excuse not to enjoy some of the many wonderful events Kirkland hosts throughout the summer. This last week, 2nd Thursdays on Park Lane was filled with live music, artists, a fashion show, outdoor dining and shopping until 9:00 pm. The Kirkland Wednesday Market, located on the waterfront at Marina Park, is an idillic setting for grocery shopping, sightseeing, getting a bite to eat or just enjoy the lovely setting and festive atmosphere. Both events run through October.


2nd Thursdays on Park Lane

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Kirkland Wednesday Market

2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

    From a visitor standpoint, Marina Park is is the PERFECT market location. It really showcases Kirkland at its best and brings out the joys of summer in the PNW. Not sure how the vendors feel, since there is always concerns/complaints about parking (or lack thereof), but I hope they really can benefit from this outstanding venue and keep it alive and vibrant for many years to come!
