Bridle Trails State Park

There are times when a person (or persons) makes a selfless gesture, it needs to be shared with others. This is one of those times. The Everest Neighborhood has set an inspiring course which encourages others to follow. In the process, they have shown us the true meaning of community.

We would like to recognize them for doing so. Thank you, Everest Neighborhood.

Subject: 2009 Grant

Dear Council Members;

On behalf of the Everest Neighborhood, the Board Members have voted unanimously to not request Grant Money for 2009.

Each year we look forward to and are sincerely grateful for the city’s generous opportunity to enhance our neighborhood with its financial help.

We felt that in light of current economic conditions facing our city, requesting/spending money without considering other’s economic plight is not in keeping with the concept of true community.

Here’s hoping for a more prosperous future!

Sincerely,

Everest Neighborhood Association
