Bill Henkens today invited Kirkland residents to join him for outdoor grilled Smoked BBQ Chicken on Saturday, July 20th to learn about his campaign for the Kirkland City Council. “I’m running to bring fresh leadership to our city government. I’ll use my time-tested business skills to make sure the city is spending your tax dollars responsibly and meeting our priorities without raising taxes. My volunteer support for the King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence makes me committed to continue to protect the vulnerable in our community and as a 33 year Juanita resident, I will safeguard the unique neighborhoods we enjoy in our city”, continued Henkens.
Local grillmaster Mark Keirns will do the grilling and the BBQ event will be in the outdoor eating area of Henkens’ Juanita eatery, The Game Neighborhood Grill and Bar located at 13510 NE 100th Ave NE. The event will run from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 20th. Cost is just $20 per person. More information is available at www.BillHenkensforKirkland.com.
Henkens has owned and operated The Game Neighborhood Grill and Bar for almost 14 years. His 35 year business career includes extensive restaurant management, executive management and restaurant rescue consulting.
