Volunteers Do Some Spring Cleaning in Kirkland

Over the past few weeks, we have enjoyed a few moments of warm sunshine and spring-like weather which has prompted folks around town to work on their gardens and do some spring cleaning. We spotted Jessica Greenway and Ken Nelson caring for a traffic circle near their home in Norkirk. Volunteers such as they are responsible for making our city such a great place in which to live. Other examples include the Kirkland Downtown Association's Clean Sweep event which took place on Saturday, a similar event to help a long-time friend and business owner on Sunday, and of course, the weekly volunteer efforts of the Kudos Kirkland team which roams throughout Kirkland each week cleaning, weeding and beautifying our streets and public areas.
