Support Heritage Hall – Carve your name in stone and purchase a paver (Photos)

Donate a paver to complete the front walkway of heritage hall by 2012

Leave a reminder of your legacy for future generations

Heritage Hall is more than just an aptly named building. It is a gathering place, a museum, a place for celebrations, a meeting hall, a reminder of Kirkland of long ago. It holds the history of our city.

This historic building opened for Community Meetings in August 2003 and the Heritage Resource Center, home of the Kirkland Heritage Society, in April 2004.

As a fund raiser for Heritage Hall, the public is invited to purchase personalized stone pavers to be laid in the walkway leading to the entrance of the hall. The proceeds from the pavers go toward finishing the building and ongoing maintenance.

A number of smaller projects need to be completed at Heritage Hall and the Kirkland Heritage Society’s Resource Center in the lower floor:

  • Cabinets and equipment in lower floor;
  • Sign and Interpretive Markers; and
  • Communications and Security Systems.

Your donation of $50 or more will carve your name in stone and support this building which holds so much of our history.

    We were one of the first to buy a personalized paver to help this project in 2003 and enjoy dropping by to take a look at it and at some others purchased by friends. However, I had been meaning to contact the city to find out when they may be washing those pavers. They’re getting very dirty and hard to read. Hopefully it will happen as a spring cleaning project.
