Food Specials and Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Official Opening and National Chicken Month

Did you know that September is National Chicken Month? In honor of the mighty bird (and to celebrate the pop culture icon, Chicken Boy’s birthday on September 1st) The Wing Dome in Kirkland will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the newly remodeled restaurant and its sister restaurant, Steamers. No word yet on any potential surprise guest appearances from Chicken Boy himself.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 1st at 4:00pm at Steamers and Wing Dome in Kirkland with Deputy Mayor Penny Sweet doing the honors.

Specials for the day

To celebrate the day, both restaurants have special offerings: enjoy $3.00 bag of burgers ALL DAY (Wing Dome) and  ½ off crab cakes ALL DAY (Steamers).

    OK, let me see if I have this straight…

    They will celebrate National Chicken Month by cutting the heads off chickens, ripping their limbs off and plunging said limbs into boiling oil and serving them to the general public?!

    Please cancel my request that November be called National Reporters Month.
