Construction, Demolition, Renovation, Oh My! (photos)

These photos of the demolition of the building adjacent to Hector’s in downtown Kirkland were submitted by John Michael Gilday. The building was brought down on Monday morning. It was the former home of Manhattan woman’s clothing and World Wrapps.

The re-envisioned development project includes plans for an exapnded Hector’s with rooftop deck, street level parking and a new authentic mexican restaurant to be called Milagro Cantina.

A little additional information. The building being demolished wraps around behind Hector’s to the alley. It will take all week to demolish the building and the hardscape below it.

The new upscale Mexican Restaurant, Milagro Cantina, is currently being built in the Northwest corner of the newly renovated Kirkland Waterfront Market.
