Three types of dog beds, house-made dog treats and stroll-friendly neighborhood parks “raise the woof” in dog-friendly stays
And you thought people had it good at The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland; wait until you see the dog’s life here. The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland proudly announces its dog-friendly amenities, perfect for those traveling with pets.
A choice of three pet beds: Providing the ultimate in sleeping comfort to its guests through its Art of Sleep bed menu, dogs benefit by extension from the hotel's Art of Sleep for Paws program, including:
- Pillow Top beds are “pillow top” beds for dogs, providing luxurious comfort throughout.
- Dolce Vita heated beds from dogbedworks.com, offer a patent-pending Flat Screen Heater that works with a dog’s body temperature to provide the ideal temperature recommended by veterinarians. The pad provides total comfort while heat is on or off.
- Organic Bumper Beds® are made with a removable organic cotton cover; its inner cushion is made from 100% IntelliLoft™, a fiber fill made from recycled plastic soda bottles. This green bed reduces Fido’s carbon “paw print.” The Organic Bumper Beds are ideal for allergic, sensitive or orthopedic pups.
"A restful stay is one of the Heathman Hotel's benchmarks of excellence, and we're delighted to extend that same caliber of quality to our guests' four-legged friends," said Les Utley, general manager for The Heathman Hotel in Kirkland.
Enjoy house-made dog treats at check-in from Trellis Pastry Chef Sandra Watson. Trellis' Northwest menu hails from farmed, fished and foraged cuisine; Watson carries it through in her fresh-baked dog biscuits. With advance reservations, the Hotel will be sure your dog is treated.
Pedestrian-friendly Kirkland streets and parks give dogs room to roam! Step outside and discover lakefront esplanades, city parks including the Heathman's recently "adopted" Heritage Park, and acres of natural trails. This Eastside hamlet is perfect for a fresh-air run or walk dogs love.
