2

The City of Kirkland has entered into a stay of 60 days in a good faith effort to settle the court case filed against the City by SRM Development over the process and outcome of their Bank of America / Merrill Gardens project. The Initial Hearing, if needed, will be scheduled for December 2008.

Hmm….do you think the discussions between SRM, The City & CIVIK will have any bearing on the direction the KCC wants to go with regards to clarifying the downtown KCP? Do you think the timing of this Stay coincides with KCC wanting to limit the clarification of the KCP to itself + public comment w/out KPC involvement?

    Curious…

A settlement is needed and we should hope that cool heads decide to do so. The question is how much change will be needed for the projectvyo go forward.
