A VinTimate Evening May 20 with Allen Shoup of Long Shadows Vintners
The monthly VinTimate series pairs premium wine with specific culinary tastings, engaging art and music presented in a relaxed reception style. Each of the wines, paired with hors d’oeuvres and small plates will be introduced by the featured Winemaker and Executive Chef of Trellis. Interspersed with the food and wine, the local artist will display his work, sharing thoughts and inspirations for the creations. VinTimate allows for guests to interact, socialize and move about the room taking in the art, meeting the winemaker and conversing with the chef.
May’s VinTimate features highly regarded Executive Winemaker Allen Shoup of Long Shadows, pouring Feather, Pirouette, Sequel, Chesterkidder, and Poet’s Leap. Long Shadows is a collection of ultra-premium wines created by internationally acclaimed winemakers from the major wine regions of the world. Each winemaker is a part owner in this unique winery dedicated to producing individual wines that showcase the viticultural excellence of Washington State's Columbia Valley.
A local art feature will be presented courtesy of the Kirkland Cultural Council. Katherine Wright of Kirkland, is an architect, architectural illustrator, artist and enthusiastic traveler. Wright’s work illustrates her love of art and passion for Italy. Classical guitarist Graham Banfield, a graduate of Cornish College for the Arts will be performing throughout the event. 6:30pm - 8:30pm. $45 per person.
