Oh joy! Another fast food joint in Kirkland.

Our little hamlet remains a desert for those seeking healthy scratch food in a restaurant.

Just because a restaurant can prepare food quickly does not mean it is some mass-produced, unhealthy pit. Darn them for using fresh bread, fresh vegtables, quality meats, and making it to order exactly the way you want it….I wish it was more scratch :)

Also really annoying, all those jobs and money it will bring to the economy of Kirkland. How irritating of JJ’s.

Yay for good sandwiches we can enjoy on the beautiful waterfront of Kirkland this summer and decades beyond.

JJ’s sandwiches average 600-700 cal each with 60-70g refined carbs. Add soda and chips, you are well over 1000 calories.

      That, sir, is junk food.

Joe, try being honest with your arguments. I can order a Jimmy Johns sub without mayonnaise, without chips (which I don’t eat) and with a Diet Coke (or even water!) and be under 500 calories. A perfectly acceptable meal , particularly since they do use relatively fresh, quality ingredients.

I could go across the street to any of our fine local restaurants for lunch and consume 1,000 calories without breaking a sweat. You can eat poorly anywhere; it’s your choice.
