The Kirkland City Council made the following board and commission appointments at their special meeting Thursday, March 11th:
Cultural Council
Erik Gordon to an unexpired term ending 3/31/2013 (pos. 3)
Design Review Board
James Truhan was reappointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Scott Reusser was appointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Andy Paroline was selected as an alternate should an additional vacancy arise within the next 6 mos.
Human Services Advisory Committee
Santiago Ramos was reappointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Jeanne Yu was appointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Nathan Brand was appointed to an unexpired two year term (youth position) ending 3/31/2011
Library Board
Megan Gustafson and Ronald Stieger were appointed to unexpired terms ending 3/31/2012
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
Shirley Day, Ryan Noel, Les Utley and Luanne Erickson were reappointed, and Daniel Mayer and Jac Cooper were appointed, during the annual membership review.
Park Board
Adam White was reappointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Shawn Fenn was appointed to a four year term ending 3/31/2014
Susan Harris Huether was selected as an alternate should an additional vacancy arise within the next 6 mos.

*Deadline for the temporary seats for annexation area residents on the Human Services Advisory Committee, Library Board, Park Board and Planning Commission is March 25 – interviews scheduled for April 8th.
