I believe it is necessary for Kirkland as a whole (Businesses, neighborhoods, citizens, and government) to get together and protect our parks. Parks are vital to the attractiveness of Kirkland. Parks are one of the hardest hit departments in Kirkland due to budget cuts. The city is doing a great job, but there is always more to do. If we as a community want to keep our parks clean and beautiful, we all need to pitch in! Thank you to all the wonderful people of the Heathman Hotel who are helping to clean up Heritage Park.
