Jodi-Bardinelli

Jodi Bardinelli

Mother, daughter, dear friend and neighbor.

Truly a warm-hearted soul.

You touched our lives and gave so much to our community.

We owe you our deepest gratitude.

Sleep well, in the arms of the angels.

As many of you know, Jodi Bardinelli was diagnosed with terminal cancer just over a month ago. She passed away in her home on December 30th. Jodi managed the Kirkland Wednesday Market and has been in the restaurant and catering business in the Seattle area for many years.

A benefit dinner and auction will be held on Jan. 11. The event, which will include some of Jodi’s favorite recipes, will take place from 6-9 p.m. at Russell’s, 3305 Monte Villa Parkway, in Bothell. The minimum donation is $50, with all proceeds going to the family.

Included is a benefit auction titled, Christmas Regifted. The community has donated a whole host of auction items. Something to suit every budget.

To donate auction items please email Kate Butcher at moc.evilnull@rehctuB_etaK

To RSVP or volunteer please email Kellie Jordan at moc.aidemosinull@nadrojak

I miss her so much, she really would have enjoyed seeing the new council on dais tonight, she worked so hard to see Amy, Doreen, Joan and Penny get elected. She was a great believer in community, neighborhoods, friends, good food, farmers markets, and last but not least, and most importantly, family. She loved her daughters and treated us all like we were her own. To dine at her table was a privelege. She was a bright shining star gone much too soon from us. Rest in peace my friend. KJ

Jodi-You lived with such passion and meaning. You’ll be missed by so many of us that saw the incredible effort you put into the Kirkland Farmers Market, and everything else you accomplished. The list of accolades for you is far too many to list. Those who know how food (and wine!) unites humanity realize the power that was Jodi. You made your mark young lady.
