Warm wishes of a very peaceful and Merry Christmas from Kirkland Views.

Peace on Earth, good will toward men

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. A Charlie Brown Christmas was always a favorite show to watch on television when I was a kid. I found a clip on YouTube to share below. Merry Christmas!

      Gosh, you’d think I could avoid a typo in a simple 20-word message!

      Thanks for all your hard word work in providing KirklandViews as a resource to the community, Rob! and Merry Christmas!

    Thanks Rob! It was great to meet you at Zoka. Thanks for Kirkland Views, it’s so helpful to a newbie to Kirkland.

    This is also my favorite time of year, and never more so than 2009 as I got to witness the compassion of the people of Kirkland. Because of their generosity over the holidays KITH’s Thanksgiving baskets program served 98 households (460 individuals), and KITH’s
    Holiday gifts and food program served 75 households (291 individuals). Last minute (tax deductible!) year end donations to help KITH fight homelessness can be made at http://www.kithcares.org.

    Merry Christmas!

    Merry Christmas Rob, Kate and all;

    The investment in time, money and thought that you express through the electronic pages of Kirkland Views is a big part of what makes our town so special.

    I can’t count the number of times I’ve been eating breakfast at Georges or walking along Lake Street and had someone come up to me and say “I’ve read your postings on Kirkland Views and it’s great to meet you in person”. Just yesterday at Purple Cafe four of us were having a conversation with KV at its centerpoint.

    It’s a new year, a new council and a whole new start for a newly expanded Kirkland. I expect a great deal from Kirkland Views in the coming months, but for now I’m heading for a long awaited trip to Casa Gilday in Mexico. While I will miss my friends, I will find a way to struggle through in 82 degree days and mango margarita nights.

    I will see you all when I return – fresh and revitalized.

    Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

      Followed by a punch in your face, I assume? :) Just kidding, John, your contributions here are valuable, usually for their insight, and often for their comedic value.

      I want to that Rob Butcher for all that he puts into Kirkland Views. I’m sure this has been a labor of love and not one of MIcrosoftian profitability. My thanks to all other contributors as well.
