Breast Cancer 3-Day walks through Kirkland

A crowd of supporters decked out in pink gathered at Houghton Beach on Saturday to cheer on the participants in the Breast Cancer 3-Day charity walk of 60 miles.
Taking place in 14 cities nationwide, the Breast Cancer 3-Day is a series of three day, 60-mile walks that raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research, education, and community outreach programs. Participants travel an average of 20 miles a day during each event, raising awareness for breast cancer programs and breast health messages along the way. The series will generate millions of dollars to fund critical breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
You can visit the organization’s website at http://www.the3day.org/. Many participants have blogs that further discuss the event including this one with some videos made by participants.

I missed the 3-Day because of work. Had a old friend of mine walking and I support them all. Glad to see the coverage, if short.
