This says virtually nothing. He wouldn’t say it was wrong, he wouldn’t apologize. Since he is one of the Gang Of Four, along with Lauinger, Greenway and Asher, I’ll bet he got their support, so the minority of three couldn’t force anything.
It is bad enough that Hodgson felt no need for contrition, but it looks like the G of 4 saw nothing wrong with Hodgson’s action but for causing discomfort and disrupting collegiality. Remember that when the 2009 elections come around and Launinger and Hodgson try to get re-elected.
