My neighbor told me that Bothell want to annex Finn Hill. I looked at their website but there is n’t anything on it.

Gary, no other city can annex because our council is acting like little children wanting to GROW, GROW, GROW without regard to the wishes of Kirkland people. They can’t find a way to pay for annexation and they wont let anyone else have it either! Time to vote in a new Council if they don’t kill this annexation thing they don’t deserve to be in office.

Gary, those other cities can’t annex this area at this time. The Boundary Review Board designated the area as a Kirkland area. At least one Council member wants the City of Kirkland to release this area so someone else can annex it.

I don’t think the word “Suspends” properly gives the reader the true meaning of what the city council did. They “tabled the item”, meaning they can return to the it at a later date. What does this mean? The city just will not leave this huge annexation project alone. No other city has gotten excited about it! The City of Kirkland wants to continue to grow the city!!! Why hasn’t anyother city pushed to do the Annexation? Where is Kenmore, Bothell or Woodinville in all this? They border the annexation area.

It is still an open issue. The city council has decided to wait until budgeting is done before finalizing a decision.
