Kirkland wants to hear your views. The City of Kirkland has launched an online survey on sustainability. Kirkland residents and businesses are encouraged to take the online Economic Sustainability Survey. The information gathered will help guide what changes will take place. Your opinion counts.

The surveys are available on the City’s website atwww.ci.kirkland.wa.us/Business/sustainability and Kirkland City Hall or by calling 425-587-3001.  Responses are encouraged to be submitted by May 19, 2008.

From the Kirkland Neighborhood News e-Bulletin:

The information collected during the assessment will be used to develop an economic sustainability strategy that focuses on development of a robust, resilient, environmentally sound, and diverse Kirkland economy.  Kirkland residents and business owners and operators are encouraged to participate in completing surveys to provide valuable feedback in this groundbreaking effort.  This is the first assessment of its kind to be completed in the Puget Sound region.

The survey takes about 5 minutes and it focuses on Kirkland as a whole as well as the downtown core. This is your chance to give input directly to the city. There are two separate surveys - one for residents and one businesses. Click here to get started.
